Originally called “yoga for dancers”, Gyrokinesis® is an exercise system that holistically addresses the entire body, awakening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing the range of motion and creating functional, supple strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences.

Gentle, yet invigoratingly challenging, Gyrokinesis® stimulates the aerobic and cardiovascular systems, elongates the musculature, and is especially supportive for restoring healthy alignment of the spine. Exercises are smoothly and harmoniously connected through the use of breath, making the follow-along class feel more like a combination of dance, swimming, gymnastics, and tai-chi than traditional yoga.
